Named "One of the Best Nonprofits" by Spur Local, Culmore Clinic is a nonprofit healthcare clinic offering free, compassionate,culturally-sensitive medical care, counseling, and specialty referrals to uninsured adults in the Falls Church, VA area.
The Need
Over half of Bailey’s Crossroads residents are uninsured. Access to healthcare continues to be a crisis for many of our neighbors in Northern Virginia. Barriers to accessing medical care are legion. Affordability, language, and documentation are just a few examples. Dedicated individuals and congregations thought something should be done. Culmore Clinic works to bridge the healthcare access gap in Northern Virginia.

Senator Mark Warner (VA-D) Hears from Culmore Clinic!
Recently, Executive Director, Lynette Sappe-Watkins and Board Chair Philip Eliot were “at the table” for a roundtable discussion with U.S. Senator Mark R. Warner (D-VA) on the topic was affordable housing. Culmore Clinic leaders had the opportunity to share how the Clinic is benefiting by being included in new housing project Wesley’s Kindred Crossing.
Volunteer Spotlight: Debbie Kirzner, RN, Phlebotomist
Meet Debbie Kirzner, RN dedicated volunteer Phlebotomist who also helps our Nursing Team. As a retired nurse, she has spent her career in public health. We caught up with Debbie in between patients to learn more about why she loves volunteering with Culmore Clinic and a bit more about her life.

Our Services
Culmore Clinic provides basic medical services, diagnostic testing, health counseling, mental health services and specialty care three days a week, to adults in the Bailey’s Crossroads, VA community. The Clinic works directly to alleviate health disparities, offering low-cost services to patients who would not otherwise have access to any kind of medical care.
