Masking Heroes with 3-D Printers!

We are in awe of volunteer and Culmore Clinic friend, Mary Margaret “Mugsie” Schaefer! Mugsie is fashioning hygienic and highly effective masks using her home 3-D printer for Culmore Clinic staff, vulnerable patients, and patients exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms. She is cranking them out to keep up with demand and we are immensely grateful!

This was a group effort! Below the Markey family makes filters for the 3-D printer masks by cutting up surgeons’ masks. By doing this they can turn one mask into several!
