Partner Spotlight: NOVAScripts Central

Culmore Clinic wishes to shine the spotlight on NOVAScripts Central, a critical partner providing life saving medicines and medical supplies to Culmore Clinic patients.  In 2021 the total value of this support was $97,340.  Now, NOVAScripts pharmacists and health educators have teamed up with Culmore Clinic to pilot “Turning the Curve,” a program featuring targeted interventions for pre-diabetic and diabetic patients.  A special aspect has been a six-month curriculum of monthly Diabetes Management Workshops focused on topics such as nutrition, medication management, mental health, exercise and more.  NOVAScripts Health Educators and Pharmacists are pictured with patients at a recent session. Each month, exam space at The Clinic is transformed into classroom space to support important teaching and learning.  Thank You, NOVAScripts!
