Welcome, Anne-Lise Quinn - Our New Executive Director!

We are incredibly pleased to announce our new Executive Director, Anne-Lise Quinn!

Anne-Lise (pronounced Anna-Lisa) joins Culmore Clinic as the new Executive Director, bringing a career dedicated to nonprofit, humanitarian, and international development work, and a deep passion for social justice.

Anne-Lise grew up in Belfast, Northern Ireland and has spent most of her adult life overseas, living and working on all but two continents. Graduating from Cambridge University, England with a doctorate in Social Anthropology, Anne-Lise has held a variety of managerial and leadership positions within U.S. international and local nonprofits, most recently with Cornerstones in Reston, and has experience consulting for both the U.S. and U.K. governments.

Though she is a relatively new resident of Northern Virginia, Anne-Lise is proud to be a graduate of Leadership Fairfax, Class of 2018, through which she is now excited to promote the mission of Culmore Clinic.

“I feel honored to have been chosen by the Board, and especially the co-founders of Culmore Clinic, to carry the torch forward and ensure no member of this community suffers from lack of access to quality healthcare due to low income and lack of insurance.”

Anne-Lise is mom to three sons – two at Virginia colleges – and one daughter. She spends most of her free time juggling their practices, rehearsals, concerts, games, feisanna (Irish dance competitions), tournaments, and regattas; but, when she gets a moment, Anne-Lise also enjoys tending her yard, writing short poems, and meeting friends for tea!
